Event Policies

There are several tiers for the race to follow if unsuitable weather is encountered.

If the snow is good we will use the planned course.
If the natural snow melts we will race on the man-made snow or other off-road terrain.
If there is no snow we will hold an off-road duathlon or 10k trail race.
If we are unable to hold the race that day it will be cancelled for that year.
In the event of a bad snow storm or temps below 4°F we will more than likely still race but may delay the start of the race, after consultation with the athletes racing that day.

As can be seen we are going to great length to hold the event with several back up policies to significantly reduce the risk of having to cancel the event.
